hen I stepped off of the school bus one Friday afternoon, I was delivered straight into the hands of a sexual predator. My mom had left for southern Missouri with a man.
I was greeted by a man named Bud Green. Others know him as Bud Leichti. I can confirm that he was from Wathena Kansas.He was 19 or 20 and I believe he was a distant third cousin.
My mom had hired him to babysit her three kids for the weekend. He took complete advantage of me and had me in my mom's bedroom that same night. I was forced to perform oral sex, sodomy and other sex acts with him. This lasted the entire weekend.
The following week I was hospitalized because of physical trauma.Of course my mom told me I was a liar looking for attention. She was quick to let me know he was coming back the following weekend. The sexual acts performed on me along with the sex acts I was forced to perform on him absolutely destroyed a very innocent life.
When I turned 18 years old, I was at the prosecutor's office. I have become an adult and I wanted to press charges. My life was out of control. If I didn't get Justice I easily could have been dead.
Back then statue of limitations 4 years. I haf been investigating Bud. He had multiple victims. Some of them were in my family. The prosecutor let me know if I can find one victim within the statute that would press charges. Then victims like me would be allowed to testify in court.
I did locate one victim that had moved to the state of Ohio who was still within the statute. She refused to return to Missouri to face this monster. When the me too movement was created the state of Missouri made the statute of limitations for sex crimes on a child to 30 years past their 18th birthday. I was 47 years old.
I felt that God had answered a lifelong pleading with him to give me a chance to stop this man forever. On November 11th, 2019 I started the process to get justice for all of his victims. I was interviewed by detectives for forensic evidence. I relived what I could remember at 47 years old. My birthday was February 9th, 1972. I had 3 months to pull this off.
There was a brand new prosecutor. He was the replacement for Dwight Scroggins. The new prosecutor could not have been educated about the 30-year statute of limitations. The very same day evidence was turned over to him he decided not to prosecute the man responsible for the way I was and I still to this day I do not act right. For sure, I do not treat myself good at all.
As you can see the police report was filed and the detective noted on his paper work that the interview was completed and there was evidence. The only thing me too means in my mind is just what it sounds like.
Keep you children, your neighbors and anyone you know and love away from the man named Bud Green. I know he was driving a cement truck and I'm pretty sure he lives in Savannah, Missouri. Hey buddy if you see this, Sue me bitch!
