More than abuse!

I am sure that by now everyone has figured out the three things in my life that were and are the most important to me: the things that I learned to love.

My Grandparents were for sure my first-ever blessing. My Grandpa introduced me to fishing, and fishing really magnified my love for Mother Nature.

It was June of 2018 when I was helping my Mom clean up her house. In the basement of her house, I came across a fishing pole that belonged to my Grandpa.

It was a J.C. Higgins brand rod with a surfcasting reel. My mother told me that this rod and reel had been left for me to inherit.

I spent a few hours restoring and refurbishing this particular rod and reel. To find out twenty-five years after my grandpa had taken his final fishing trip to heaven was pure love.

I had never intended on using this rod and reel. I wanted it in remembrance of my love for my Grandparents, fishing, and Mother Nature.

After I finished working on my Mom's house for her, I was no longer allowed there again. I called her to ask if I could come and retrieve my rod and reel.

My Mom told me that she had sold it for twenty dollars.

I wanted the rod and reel to be with me in remembrance of the only man I truly loved. I would never have used it because I know how sneaky a fish can be.

I wanted to be able to finally take Grandpa fishing. I have not fished since my fishing pole was sold.

I'll fish again when I make it home to Grandma and Grandpa's.

How sad,. People (whether related by blood or not ) shouldn't treat others in this manner
