The volunteer.

I started working as a volunteer at a very early age. My first volunteer work involved working with a church to feed the less fortunate.

I would work alongside my grandmother as we serve hot meals at the local Food Kitchen. We would also go around and deliver meals to those that were homebound.

I learned that the feeling and love that you receive volunteering is the greatest pay someone could receive. Someone telling you Thank you and smiling at you is greater than any paycheck imaginable.

My entire life I have volunteered myself to help others when they were in need with no hesitation. I never expect any monetary value out of what I do.

I have never had the opportunity to work volunteer on a ongoing basis until I started working with my beloved homeless family. As I begin volunteering I had a lot that I needed to learn. I am still learning.

I believe that with more homeless Volunteers in America that we as volunteers alone can cut the numbers in half. The things I've been able to do as a volunteer in the past two years is what makes me think this.

I have personally saved two lives. I have been able to house three separate people. I have helped others obtain bus tickets to make it home where they have loving family. There has been multiple what I call "street clients" that I have helped Direct proper resources to help them along with medical and mental health.

In order to have a recipe that will help decline the number of homeless you need ingredients. The number one ingredient that is hardest to find is you.

The pie always tastes better when made with others. Then, to share the pie warms the heart.
