My first introduction.

 First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Tracy Jay Gillespie. I am a 48 year old male who lives in St. Joseph, Missouri. This is where I was born and raised.

  I like to think of myself as a Christian man. I believe that all things are possible. I have a high school equivalency that I obtained through the United States Navy.

 I served in the United States Navy for almost 2 years. I was discharged from the Navy with other than honorable conditions due to my mental health. 

  I am a very compassionate and caring person. I am a person who listens and tries to understand. I am a giving person and I never looked down on anyone.I never look down on anyone.

 I myself, had a very traumatic upbring which led me to experience being homeless for a combined 20 years. That whole time I was living with untreated mental illness.

  I love to spend quality time in the great outdoors. I enjoy fishing, hunting, camping and I even like to hike. Most of all, I have a strong passion for helping others.

  My passion for helping others is what made me well known in my community. All the things that led up to me becoming well known is what I'm going to write about. 

 As I begin to share with you my story. It will begin to unfold and make sense. My hopes and dreams are that my story will help change the lives of those who are suffering. 

 If my story is able to help remove the stigma and the stereotypes that haunt some of us. That would be one of the few ways I would feel my story is successful.

  You are going to have a great opportunity to get to know who I am. You will learn how I use my lived experiences is a tool to do what it is I do.

 I encourage comments, feedback and opposition. I welcome all your criticism. That is how we will learn together. I really look forward to learning some of the opinions, views or concerns that others may have.

 When I was in grade school I usually would ride the school bus. This particular time that I rode the school bus I was in third grade.  I was an 8 year old that was easily manipulated. hen I stepped off of the school bus one Friday afternoon, I was delivered straight into the hands of a sexual predator. Illegally evict an advocate?

  I have been a tenant at my current residence since December of 2021. There is no signed lease and I am a tenant on a month to month basis. Before October of 2024, I never missed paying for a month's rent or was even late paying rent. On Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. I am to appear in division 5 Court facing eviction. (See summons below.) My lived experience working with individuals who are in need of housing has taught me quite a bit. Before I get into the reason I feel so many of us end up experiencing homelessness, I would like to share some legal information about the eviction process. For the past eight years of my life – extremely long, painful, and miserable years – a huge part of me has been missing. An internal flame that once burned brighter than the sun has been fully extinguished. Already a severely damaged and extremely scared soul, I was about to experience a sadness that defies modern description. One of the most important parts of my life was ripped straight from my heart, and I believe it was done with malice and intent specifically targeted to damage me. Evil and darkness had certainly found their mark this time. My entire life had already been a constant battle that I was losing. Every day, I struggled with undiagnosed and untreated mental illnesses. I had developed into a drug addict and had spent many years in the past as a terrible alcoholic.
